We are working in partnership with Broadacres Housing Association to develop a site of 12 eco-friendly, affordable homes at Linden Close in the pretty village of Great Ayton, North Yorkshire.
Four of the three bedroomed homes are available to buy from Yuill Homes with the remaining eight available for rent and shared ownership through Broadacres, which received funding from the HCA to develop the site.
Linden Close has been created with sustainability in mind. The homes include a number of energy saving features which will help residents save money, at the same time as protecting the environment. As well as enhanced insulation and efficient heating systems, all properties feature also solar panels to keep residents’ energy bills to a minimum and outside, the properties include garden sheds, rotary dryers, compost bins and water collection butts.
Andrew Garrens from Broadacres Housing Association said: “We are delighted to be working in conjunction with Yuill Homes on this development, which will bring 12 eagerly awaited affordable new homes to Great Ayton. A development like this can really make a difference to a small community like Great Ayton and it’s heartening to know that we are helping to make some local people’s lives better.”
